Analysis / Bias

In review, the York Dispatch publishes local news using journalists with minimally loaded language and bias: Father and son tree-trimmers accused in York County burglaries. National/International news is derived from the Associated Press. All information is properly sourced.

Editorially, the York Dispatch tends to endorse Democratic candidates. In the 2016 election, they endorsed Hillary Clinton with this quote “On the one hand is an intelligent woman who is eminently qualified to lead our country — and on the other is an ignorant buffoon most decent Americans would be ashamed to have in their own homes, much less send to the White House.” Further, a review of the opinion page reflects more left-leaning views than right. In general, the York Dispatch is least biased with news reporting but moderately left biased editorially.
