LEFT-CENTER BIAS

These media sources have a slight to moderate liberal bias.  They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor liberal causes.  These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation. See all Left-Center sources.

Update: This source rarely publishes new content.

Factual Reporting: HIGH

The Pulse is a news and commentary site from Pensacola Florida, that was founded in 2015. The Pulse describes their mission as to provide Pensacola and the Gulf Coast with a locally-owned, independent, unco-opted source for news, commentary, and more

The Pulse’s coverage of information includes community as well as current regional, state, and national news pertaining to Pensacola Florida. They publish stories with moderately loaded emotional headlines such as: “TRUMP BUDGET WOULD AXE $157M REVIVAL OF GULF COAST AMTRAK SERVICE”. Their articles are always well sourced to credible media through quotes, however, they mostly lean left in their coverage. Therefore we rate The Pulse Left-Center biased and HIGH for factual reporting. (M. Huitsing 9/9/2017)
