History
Founded in 1892, The Brownsville Herald is a broadsheet newspaper based in Brownsville, Texas, circulating in the Cameron County area. According to their about page “The Herald, and its sister daily in Spanish, El Nuevo Heraldo, were each named in 2013 as the newspapers of the year by the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors association.” The current editor is Ryan Henry.
