The GoodNewsNetwork is owned by Geri Weis-Corbley, who is a former CNN editor and camera operator, and Anthony Scamandi, who is an attorney. Revenue is derived through advertising and donations.

In review, the purpose of the GoodNewsNetwork is to publish news that is uplifting, positive, and most importantly, not negative.
