The purpose of the website it to troll “gullible conservatives” into sharing these satirical stories as truth. Christopher Blair has been called the “Godfather of Fake news.”

According to their about page: “DailyWorldUpdate.us is a subsidiary of the “America’s Last Line of Defense” network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery, or as Snopes calls it: Junk News. Because they’re too stupid to understand what “satire” means.” In general, Daily World Update exclusively pokes fun at conservatives with a tagline that reads “Satire for Flat Earthers, Trumpsters and Y’all Qaeda.” Here is a sample satire article that is meant to get gullible conservatives to share on social media: Malia Obama Arrested Again, Complete Media Blackout.
