BREAKING: Trump to sign order that stops his policy of separating families at the border

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he would sign an order that stops the separation of migrant families at the border, halting a zero-tolerance policy he instituted. “I’ll be doing something that’s somewhat pre-emptive and ultimately will be matched by legislation I’m sure,” Trump told reporters when asked if he wants to try to keep families together at the U.S. border.

Trump did not disclose exactly what he would be signing, but an administration official confirmed to NBC News that an executive order had been drafted by Justice and Homeland Security to keep families together in detention. Trump has been under pressure from fellow Republicans to end the negative publicity resulting from his zero-tolerance policy.

    So, is this true?

  2. The title is misleading. It’s not ‘his’ policy. His policy is to prosecute them criminally and not civilly. Also, He has started a zero tolerance policy, as it should be. Why enforce the law sometimes? It should be enforced always. If you want to prosecute someone criminally, you can’t charge and detain the children with them. Also, Trumps executive order doesn’t actually change the law. He’s just not enforcing that portion of it. Trump can’t change the law, that’s up to congress.
