Founded in 2012, Joe for America is a news website created by Joe Wurzelbacher, who is also known as Joe the Plumber who famously asked Barack Obama in 2008, why he wanted to raise taxes. Joe the Plumber became a representative of the right and eventually created a website to capitalize on his name recognition.

Funded by / Ownership

The website is owned by Joe Wurzelbacher and is funded through online advertising. There is no other financial disclosures on the website.

Analysis / Bias

Joe for America is an extreme right news website that publishes news that is exclusively pro-right and anti-left. There is significant use of loaded words and many times news is sourced from far right or other questionable sources. Joe for America has also failed fact checks.
