Based on the way the way the word “collusion” has been used since the election, we must alert the broader public to the reality that US politicians and businesses have been “colluding” with their Russian counterparts for a long time. This has has especially been true since Richard Nixon’s detente agenda of the early 1970s. The Cold War ended. Until the 2016 election, it was considered a positive thing.
