Daily Source Bias Check: Judicial Watch

right05RIGHT BIAS

These media sources are highly biased toward conservative causes. They utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.

Factual Reporting: MIXED

Notes: Judicial Watch is a conservative educational foundation that promotes transparency, accountability and integrity in government, politics and the law. Unfortunately, Judicial Watch is not always accountable and publishes false information according to Politifact and Snopes.

  1. Your report on Judicialwatch.org characterizes them as biased, misleading and the accuracy of their reporting as “mixed” scroll down a bit and two adverts from Judicialwatch.org appear on the same page. This publication seems to represent the opposite of what your site seeks to promote. I wish there was some way for your site to avoid this. Donations would be bigger if you would not accept adverts from fake news sites.

  2. Yes, that is a problem. I have no real control over the ads outside of making sure they are kid friendly. Ads are generated based on your cookies. So if you visited Judicial Watch the ad generator probably thinks you are interested. There are changes upcoming to the website as a whole that should address many issues including the poor search feature.
